→ Yoongi was born in Daegu, the youngest of two brothers. Things probably happened to him in Daegu, but you're not going to hear much about them. He doesn't talk much about his family but they're there, they're living, and every once in a while he gets a phone call from them. His father, in particular, seems to be a sore spot.

→In 2012 Yoongi ran away to Seoul to get away from his family and to chase his dreams of becoming a rapper. Against all odds, he finished high school while working a part time job to pay for his shitty studio apartment and was accepted into Chugye University as a composition major. Currently resides in Hongdae.

→Works as a barista at a small cafe in Hongdae. Luckily, customers don't seem to mind his gruff demeanor, and his boss seems to find it entertaining. Free drinks are up for his friends whenever they want to visit (he's getting pretty good at making dick latte art).

→Most of Yoongi's free time is spent on his music: writing lyrics, monopolizing as much studio time at his school as he can, performing at clubs under the stage name Suga. He's found minor success in the underground scene, but still hasn't managed to break through.

→Yoongi's earned himself the nickname "gramps" from most of his friends: he's constantly tired, usually grumpy, and a little stiff.

→Despite his laziness, he's actually pretty athletic - he's competent at most sports, pretty damn good at soccer and basketball, and will definitely kick your ass at video games. Has a competitive streak a mile long.

→Drinks too much, smokes too much, swears too much. He'll also try any other drug if it's offered to him, although he won't often go out of his way to obtain them himself.

→Likes to carry around his DSLR to snap pictures of his friends and the scenery around them, preferring to catch them off guard, capturing the most candid moments he can. He's a little bit obsessed with collecting memories.

→He tends to put up a bit of a tough front, but he's actually a big ol softie. Fiercely loyal and protective of his friends, he's a full time worrier, constantly doting in his gruff, awkward way. He can also be a bit of a nag when it comes to his younger friends. The only time you'll see his temper flare up is when his music or his friends are involved.

→Suffers from severe depression, he's never received any kind of treatment. He prefers to find his own ways to cope and medicate. Occasionally drops off the grid and locks himself up for a few days when it gets to be too much too handle. He tries to avoid talking about it or his past suicide attempts with his friends because he hates being seen as a burden.

→He's slightly shorter than average, but his scrawniness and tendency to wear shirts and sweaters two sizes too big for him makes him appear even smaller. Currently, his hair is bleached a whitish blonde color, taking on a strawlike texture from a lack of care. His skin is so pale it's practically translucent, making the heavy dark circles under his eyes even more pronounced. He has a tendency to forget to eat or sleep for long periods of time when he's lost in his work.
